"Jebo Te!"

Aus der Sammlung Handke: Die "Jebo Te!"-Kollektion.
(2003-open end)

Die “Sammlung Handke” ist ein Selbstportrait in Form eines Archives privater Bild-und Materialwelten und als künstlerischer Kommentar zum Diskurs über das KünstlerInnensubjekt und geteilte Autorinnenschaft zu lesen.
Neben (Kunst-)gegenständen unterschiedlicher UrheberInnenschaft repräsentieren auch Kleidungsstücke einen wesentlichen Aspekt der “Sammlung Handke” . Für die “Jebo Te!” - Kollektion wurde eine Auswahl von biografisch aufgeladenen Exemplaren verschiedener Provenienz zusammengestellt: Selbstgestricktes, am Flohmarkt Erstandenes, von KünstlerInnen Gestaltetes, Designer-Originale und weltweiter Einheitslook.
Die Dinge werden mit einer Missverständnisse provozierenden Aussage belabelt und dadurch gleichzeitig individualisiert und vereinheitlicht.
