Stage Design "The Pleasing Hours Of Aranjuez"

The Play by Peter Handke, set in a midsummer garden, was transposed into a backstage setting where two actors meet amidst decoration remains after their performance of "Don Carlos" and speak about love and their past lives. Before the curtain opens up to infinity.

MORE THAN 10 YEARS OF PARK TV


Park TV / PTV








is the first Austrian or even worldwide whateveryouwanttosayanddo - non commercial TV Format that was developed long before a participative TV Channel even existed - in 2000! Youths from different Viennese public spaces communicate with each other via video supported by cameras they operate themselves without limits and, most important, a mobile TV set which helps them check their public appearance (operated by mobile youth work Vienna).

Concept by Amina Handke and Georg Rudolf.

Since 2005, PTV is finally on air at okto!

Aus der Sammlung Handke: Die "Jebo Te!"-Kollektion.

(2003-open end)

Die “Sammlung Handke ist ein Selbstportrait in Form eines Archives privater Bild-und Materialwelten und als künstlerischer Kommentar zum Diskurs über das KünstlerInnensubjekt und geteilte Autorinnenschaft zu lesen.
Neben (Kunst-)gegenständen unterschiedlicher UrheberInnenschaft repräsentieren auch Kleidungsstücke einen wesentlichen Aspekt der “Sammlung Handke” . Für die “Jebo Te!” - Kollektion wurde eine Auswahl von biografisch aufgeladenen Exemplaren verschiedener Provenienz zusammengestellt: Selbstgestricktes, am Flohmarkt Erstandenes, von KünstlerInnen Gestaltetes, Designer-Originale und weltweiter Einheitslook.
Die Dinge werden mit einer Missverständnisse provozierenden Aussage belabelt und dadurch gleichzeitig individualisiert und vereinheitlicht.
